- Personal DJ event planning via phone, e-mail or in person (DJ event timeline and music planner)
- Experienced master of ceremony (MC Services) by experienced DJ
- A two-speaker all digital sound system with one subwoofer, 2 wireless handheld microphones, a back-up system on site, and a complete downloaded music library.
- Background music during dinner & cocktail hours, music of your choice for traditional events (ie. bridal dances, bouquet toss, etc.), and uninterrupted dance music to include requests from you and your guests.
- Arrival to the venue two or more hours before event start to ensure proper and timely set-up (free, does not count against your playtime hours).
- Set up and take down (free, does not count against your playtime hours) .

The second sound system for ceremonies that are not near the reception area. This includes up to 30 minutes of guest arrival and departure music, a wireless lapel microphone and or a wireless handheld microphone for the guests to hear your vows, and music during the processional and recessional. (Onsite: is the same location as the reception, but just might be outside of the reception or a different building within the same street address) (Offsite: is a different street address from the reception)
Bass and More Bass: $100
This really steps up the low end (bass) This system is great for any occasion where a lot more "thump" is desired. This moves up from one single 1000 watt sub to TWO 1000 watt subs! (If more subs are needed we can add even more!!)
Uplighting: $25 per fixture
Led lighting fixtures that can be set to any color and then aimed up walls, ceilings, and fixtures to accent and create a magnificent ambiance.
Slide Show: $350
Customized slide show shown on 1 32" LED Flat screen. Send us the pictures and we will create a slide show that can be played during any event or run the whole night.
Illuminated Monogram: $350
Now offering the next big thing for your event. Have your initials illuminated on the dance floor or wall! It's a very classy conversation piece!
You get to keep the custom made metal gobo disk.
Extra Time: $100
You just don't want the party to stop? Don't worry I will keep playing after your allotted time for only $100 per hour.
Karaoke: $300
Add Karaoke to any package!! 32" Monitor on a stand for the lyrics, and up to 4 mics. Over 15000 fully digital karaoke songs. Wireless song book and requesting system included. You will be able to view my song book and request songs from your cell phone or my wireless kiosk. (Must have wifi for the wireless karaoke to work)
Other wise we can still do it the old fashioned way Paper Song Book and paper requests.
Fog Machine: $100
This is not your ordinary party store fog machine it is capable of filling a room with a mesmerizing cloud of fog! (Some Venue Restrictions on Fog Machines may apply. Please check with venue in advance.)
Extra Dance lighting Bar: $75
Make your dance floor come alive and add another multi feature light bar. They can be linked together to display a synchronized light show on both bars. This moves up from one single light bar to two light bars!
(Do you need even more light bars? We can accommodate up to 4 all linked together.)
Out of area fees:
Our in area services: North and South are Longview to Wilsonville. West and East are approximately Beaverton to Sandy
Our fees are based on drive time outside of the area. Contact me to discuss pricing.
Destination Weddings:
Do you want your DJ to be with you at your destination?
Its not as uncommon as you would think.
Reasons to have us at your destination:
1) The planning and attention to detail outweigh everything simply because we can communicate and have any and all kinks ironed out before we even leave! The DJ onsite has no idea who you are and won't have the same interest in the success of your big day that your friendly neighborhood DJ has—this is someone you trust and have built a relationship with, and they’ve got your back completely. Bringing your DJ along for the ride means he or she already knows the wedding itinerary back to front and will be communicating with your wedding coordinator throughout your special day to make sure everything’s flowing well.
2) All of your music will be downloaded to our hard drives. Including a massive library for dancing. This will assure that the music will always be ready and playable. Some resorts may not have the best wifi to stream or download on the fly.
3) Language barrier: There might be some issues with the DJs in the Destination areas understanding or even playing what you want. There would be no barrier with us.
4) Direct correspondence: It is not only harder to coordinate with foreign Dj's about the details of your wedding day but also if you were to have any questions about the music, rather than having to deal with a prolonged and inconvenient correspondence, you could simply just come directly to us for assistance
4) Multiple events no problem: We are there for you. Welcome Pre party, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony, Wedding Reception, Brunch or party after the next day or last day, and any other event you would like your DJ to participate in.
Does being a "destination” DJ, add a lot of cost when someone decides to hire you?"It really depends on where the event is taking place. For instance, if it’s in a major city, the ability to rent gear is easy and affordable, so you’re looking at just transportation and accommodations beyond the standard performance and rental fees. However, if it’s in a remote location, it can add to the cost just as it would for any vendor. That said, the couples who choose an obscure location understand that type of cost comes with the territory.
Some Destination venues have sound systems that can be directly rented through them.
We can rent the equipment for you as a part of the contract, or it can be rented separately by you with our input to the type of equipment needed.
What equipment travels with the Groove Machine Staff to a destination wedding?
Examples include, Main and backup laptops, headphones, music, etc.
Sometimes concessions can be made to ship special pieces of equipment (Dance lighting, Smaller Ceremony speakers, Lapel and Handheld Mics, etc)
What do you charge for your international wedding DJ services?
For destination weddings we simply charge our base fee and then airfare and lodging for 3days/2 nights. We prefer to arrive the day before the event to avoid any hiccups from travel delays and so that we can settle in and make preparations with the onsite staff. We typically depart the day after your event as our performance schedules keep us moving!
Are there any other fees?
We do ask for travel expenses to and from the airport at the destination, i.e. hotel transfer or rental car depending on the situation.
If it is an all inclusive resort, no worries the food is included for the DJ, otherwise we can discuss an amount per day to keep your DJ fed.
